    Sometimes GOD shows up in the strangest places.  It could be in a song, in a check out line, at work, at play and this should make us stop and say to ourselves that "Wait a minute GOD is always there for us!" Remember that He is there for you "All the Time."
    Also want to remind everyone that on October 18, 2026, Lewis Chapel will be celebrating our 175th year anniversary.  What a wonderful milestone this is.  We will have a welcoming from 9:00 to 10:00am and the service will start at 10:15am. The Reverend Jerry Watson will be delivering our message.  Hope to see you there!!!
     
    Also remember that the simple plan of salvation that is found in scripture that tells us in Matthew 4:17(NRSV) "From that time Jesus began to proclaim, "Repent for the kingdom of heaven has come near."" and in Romans 10:9 (NRSV); "because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
