I would like to welcome everyone to Lewis Chapel Church. I am Pastor Mel Thompson today I want to let everyone know that is the "WORD of GOD" is being preached each and every Sunday. Do you know that GOD loves you? Well, just think about this it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from or what you look like GOD loves you. In fact, He loves you so much that Immanuel, GOD with us, Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified because of false allegations and died on that Roman Cross. He was buried in a garden tomb. He descended to hell and then on the third day, just like He told his disciples, He rose from the dead defeating hell and death. Jesus did this all for you!!! To save those who profess with their lips that He is their Lord and Savior, to know in our hearts that GOD raised Him from the dead and to repent of our sins. In others words for you!!! Summer is here and July 14-18, 6:00 -8:30 PM, we will have our annual VBS. Wendell, Darlene and their crew have been preparing for a wonderful time.
