Salkehatchie Summer Service is a South Carolina Methodist, born and bred service ministry. High school and college youth, along with adult site leaders will spend a week upgrading impoverished homes in South Carolina.
There are about 40 camp locations in the state. Teams consisting of 8-12 youth, plus adult site leaders will spend the week upgrading pre-determined homes near the camp. The purpose is to make the home safe, dry, and sanitary.
